What are the strengths of your organization? If you were in charge of a similar organization, are there any things you would do differently?

The office of Congressman Grijalva is a very unique office. Since day one the support I received was amazing. I still remember my first day in my internship when the congressman arrived to the office and as soon as he saw me he quickly came to my desk and gave me a warm welcome. He said, “Hi mija, welcome to our office” he then ask for my name and he asked me what school I went to and what I was studying. We quickly build a good relationship. I told him I was interested in Communications and Broadcast journalism and a few minutes later he called the communications director and told him that anytime he had a news interview to bring me along. When I say that this office is one like no other is because it really is. All the staff members get along and there doesn’t seem to be any form of completion. The other thing that I noticed during my time in the office of congressman Grijalva is that it is obvious that everyone in this office is happy to be working for a member of congress like Raul Grijalva. I actually I wouldn’t change anything in this office. I think everyone is doing their part to provide the best services to the people of Arizona.
